This presentation reviews significant changes that have been made to the implementation of the Clinical Laboratory Fee Schedule (CLFS) since its introduction under PAMA in 2018. The Applicable Laboratory criteria have been expanded to include hospital laboratories engaged in outreach. The next period for data collection began on January 1, 2019 and laboratories may face significant challenges obtaining this data and defending the value of their laboratory.
