This webinar will review all aspects of Zika virus, including both past and present epidemiology, transmission, and clinical manifestation of disease, with a focus on populations at greatest risk for severe consequences. The currently available diagnostic testing assays for Zika virus infection will be presented, including a discussion of proper test utilization and assay limitations. Finally, the presentation will conclude with some prevention strategies.
