Ruth Pollison, MS, MT(ASCP) was Director of the Laboratory at Newton Memorial Hospital in Newton, New Jersey. She has a master’s degree in hospital administration from New School for Social Research in New York City. Her experience includes laboratory management, outreach development, customer service, compliance issues, bioterrorism preparedness and laboratory design. She was on a community Emergency Preparedness Committee that received an award from the local Chamber of Commerce and participated in the TOPOFF 3 exercise for the state of New Jersey. She played a lead role at the hospital, ensuring good flow of play and safety for all involved.
Ruth has been a member of CLMA since 1991 and has served on the CLMA Nominating Committee, CLMA PAC Committee, MCRC Committee and just completed a year as CCL Chair.
