Celebrating Lab Week
At Saint Francis Medical Center, we are going to do something a little different this year. Oh, we're going to have a potluck, but we are going to have a Mystery Murder dinner at an offsite old ballroom theatre. We've hired a company to entertain us, and we, the laboratorians will be participants in the murder mystery itself. "Can we trust our coworkers?" It's a regular "Who Done It" right amonst us.
This interaction will take place at an old downtown ballroom that is 140 years old. Talk about "If the walls could talk!". The play will take place during a formal dinner held for all of our laboratory staff.
To make things even more mysterious, the planning committee for this particular event is keeping things "hush hush" and just giving enough clues to pique everyone's interest, but yet not giving it away. The whole unveiling of the night's activities will not completely take place until right before the event. Should be a very fun time!!
Some other ideas for the week include 70s week (we've already done 80s week), in which we enjoy music, food, and trivia from this era. We will also be collecting food for the food pantry.
