Learning how to effectively communicate with your staff is an acquired skill. As managers progress in their careers, their primary communication strategies often evolve as they learn how to best interact up, down, and across the organizational chart. In this web conference, management consultant Ron Pickett will discuss the four stages of a manager’s development (Fear and Caution; Excitement, Enthusiasm, and Experimentation; Maturity and Leadership; and Wisdom and Mentoring) and detail communication strategies that may be effective at each of these stages. Through the use of a diagnostic process and a situation-based case study, participants will learn to enhance their communication skills regardless of the stage their career is in.
