BODY OF KNOWLEDGE FOR MEDICAL LABORATORY MANAGEMENT

The Body of Knowledge (BOK) of a profession identifies its scope of practice by describing the various proficiencies—knowledge, skills and attitudes—necessary for one to perform. A BOK gives credibility to a profession and legitimizes its value. The CLMA BOK is a comprehensive compilation of competencies that identifies the scope of practice for the medical laboratory management profession.

We have aligned our educational offerings—KnowledgeLab, EOD and audioLab—with each BOK domain. Review and find the most relevant domains that identify areas of most interest to you. Below is the list of all CLMA BOK domains.
